Few mothers who previously gave birth by cesarean section was not going to be a normal delivery. But now women who have had a cesarean can safely give birth normally.

"What we found was a normal birth vaginally is a safe alternative for the majority of women who previously gave birth by Cesarean. But this is only a consideration only and it does not mean all women can give birth after a normal delivery, depending on the condition of both," Cunningham said.
